Wow, time flies by. Ryan and I have, of course, been busy with the youth group. We had our winter retreat over Valentine's Day weekend up at Mt.Hood. It was a total blast. Instead of having a speaker, all of us leaders talked about "Our Story" in life. I talked about how God has given me amazing mentors, specifically during my high school and college years. I think the message was well understood, which is good. Ryan talked about how God speaks to him through the Word and how he has learned that life circumstances are irrelevant to our individual walks with the Lord, in the sense that God is sovereign no matter the "good" or "bad" that is occurring. We love the kids more and more after each winter retreat. They are so neat!
When not doing youth related activities, we have been watching American Idol. Danny is my (Marley's favorite). There is something good about a raspy voice! We have been adding to our furniture downstairs: new chair and ottoman, new buffet lamp, getting new granite in the kitchen. Perhaps, a new sink and fitting (technical term for 'faucet'). Family has visited. Precepts Bible study has been especially amazing this year. The Word has really correlated with life... imagine that!
We love our life together. That is all.

Marley, sounds like you guys are happy and having fun! :) So glad you're enjoying youth group, and making changes around the house together (it's always fun to make it "yours" together and to look around and see what you've done :). Sounds like you guys are doing great! :)
