October is Almost Over

Hi all!

We have been super busy, as usual, since our last post. Ryan has continued to tirelessly work on a large project from work. He often goes to work all day and then comes home at 7, eats dinner and then works from home until 12 or 2:30 am... seriously. He said he will be finished in December and is looking forward to our trip to Mexico as his incentive to finish.

Marley finished her first batch of NCIDQ testing. Wow, it was terrible. To think that I won't find the results out until January is depressing. To think that I have to take at least the third component in April is even more depressing. Boo to professional tests that are not a reflection of anything significant! I have been working four, nine hour days each week. I love it and am really thankful that I have such a wonderful place of employment and a great boss!

So, other than our professional chaos, life is going really well. Time with the youth group has been really enjoyable this fall. We have had a great turn out on Tuesday nights with the Freshman and Sophomores and attendance at all events, in general, has improved. We just got home from our fall outreach event where we went to a local corn maze and then over to one of the student's house for pizza, pumpkin carving and games. What a fun night! We love high schoolers.

Beaver games have proved to be fun as well. Ryan even took one of the youth group students to one of the games to show him campus. For one of the away games, we watched the game from McMinimum's (sp?) theater. It was so fun to watch the game on such a large screen. We can't wait for a tailgating party with some friends in the near future and to see where the Beavs end up this season. We both love Beaver football season!

As usual, all are welcome to Bend anytime. See you soon.

Love, R&M
